Steve Evans’ success is attributed to observing the changes in technology over time in the commercial and private aircraft industry. He joined Lane Aviation in 1979 in the line service department and held several supervisory roles until becoming the Operations Manager in 1998 with responsibility for line service, airline fueling, deicing, fuel farm and terminal charters. He became V.P. of Operations and now serves as the president of Lane Aviation.
Stastia Earl has been an integral part of the Lane Aviation Team for over 24 years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Aviation and Communications from The Ohio State University and is also a private, instrument and commercial rated pilot. She has worked in line service dispatch, customer service and marketing and communications and believes that the best part of her day is working with the dedicated and experienced team at Lane to meet the needs of their customers.
Brain Schauweker began his career at Lane Aviation working part-time for the terminal services department on February 13, 2010. Seven months later Brian moved to a full-time position as a Tank Farm Agent at the fuel storage facility at John Glenn International Airport, facilitated by Lane Aviation. As a Tank Farm Agent, Brian performed the required tests, procedures, and documentation to ensure the aviation fuels in Lane Aviation’s custody remained clean, dry, and on spec. In 2014 Brian transitioned to the commercial airline fueling department and advanced into a relief supervisor role. In March of 2022, Brian was promoted to the role of Commercial Airline Manager, leading a team that provides an on-time fuel operation for every commercial airline flight that arrives or departs from KCMH. Brian’s responsibilities as Airline Manager include managing a team of 15 commercial airline refuelers, hiring, training, safety, airline audits, scheduling, and on-time delivery. Brian’s experience in multiple roles at Lane Aviation has given him a good understanding of the foundations of the company and the flow of the business.
Before coming to Lane Aviation in 2008, Chris Ruth worked for 21 years at PDQ Air Service transitioning through many roles from ramp agent, supervisor, assistant manager, and manager. Since joining the Lane team Chris has moved into his current role as Operations Manager, overseeing Lane’s commercial airline refueling and corporate operations. As Operations Manager Chris is responsible for safety, staffing, training, record keeping, audits, and overall customer satisfaction. Some of the highlights of Chris’s career in aviation have been working an Air Force One flight for the past six presidents that have visited KCMH, supporting the Gathering of Mustangs show at LCK in 2007, and providing support to Henderson Executive Airport for the 2024 super bowl in Las Vegas. Chris most enjoys mentoring upcoming aviation professionals and helping them exceed in the industry.
Brad Willette has been associated with Lane Aviation since 1982. In his time with the company he has sold over 1,400 aircraft to a worldwide market. Micheal Shelby earned his Bachelor of Arts in Aviation Management from The Ohio State University in 2002. Brandon Currier began his career at Lane Aviation in 2016 as a ramp agent. Brandon has served many roles in the aircraft service department from parts coordinator, aircraft mechanic, service coordinator, accountable manager, and now his current role as Director of Maintenance. Brandon has furthered his knowledge of aviation by becoming an airframe and powerplant mechanic with inspection authorization and has specialized training on the Challenger 300/350. Brandon’s love of aviation has inspired him to pursue his private pilot's license, and in his spare time, he is an avid golfer and devoted father and husband.
